The 2019 Côtes du Roussillon Bastide Miraflors is a blend of 70% Syrah (vinified as whole bunches and aged in 20% new demi-muids) and 30% Grenache (destemmed and aged in concrete). Hints of peppery spice, vanilla and woodsmoke accent the blueberry-scented nose, while the full-bodied palate is ripe, supple and concentrated, adding hints of black cherries, chocolate and licorice on the long finish. It's hard to top this sort of quality at the suggested retail of $19.

It offers loads of black fruits, roasted herbs, peppered meat, violets, and bacon fat as well as full-bodied richness, a round, opulent style, ripe tannins, and a blockbuster finish. It’s one of the finest values out there.

Lange ist es her, dass uns ein "kleiner" Bordeaux so sehr begeistert hat wie dieser 2020iger Chateau Marjosse. Schon in den Primeurproben stach dieser Wein mit einer sehr guten Leistung heraus. Jetzt,nachdem wir die ersten abgefüllten Flaschen im Laden haben, konnten wir unser Interesse nicht zügeln und haben direkt verkostet. Unglaublich kompakte Aromatik, viel dunkle Frucht, auch etwas kühl Würziges zeigt sich im Hintergrund. Klar ist bei diesem Wein der Merlot tonangebend, eben mit dieser fast schon verschwenderischen Frucht, durch einen guten Anteil an Cabernet Franc verfügt der Wein über Frische, Tannin und würzige Tiefe. Cabernet Franc, der heimliche Star am rechten Ufer des Bordeaux. Wenn sich dann auch noch einer der erfahrendsten und besten Winemaker verantwortlich zeigt, muss am Ende schon was gutes bei rauskommen. Aber "gut" wäre bei diesem Wein eine wirkliche Untertreibung. Bitte verpassen Sie diesen Wein nicht, denn was kann es Schöneres geben, als sorgenlos eine Flasche nach der anderen öffenn zu können ohne sich Sorgen um das Weinbudget machen zu müssen.

The medium-bodied palate is soft, juicy and wonderfully refreshing, delivering wonderful poise and expression with a fun burst of pure black fruit on the finish. Delicious!

Der Manzoni Bianco von Foradori zählt seit vielen Jahren zu einem der spannendsten Weissweine Iatliens, die autochtone Rebsorte begeistert mit einer fantastischen lebendigen Säurestruktur, feinen duftigen Aromen die sehr komplex aufgefächert sind. Wenn man bedenkt was dieser Wein immernoch kostet, müsste er den Oscar für das beständigste Weinschnäppchen auf dem Italienischen Markt bekommen. Der Hügel oberhalb von Trient mit seinen lehmig-kalkigen Böden ist der ideale Standort für den Manzoni Bianco, dessen Trauben Ende September reifen. Der Charakter der Weinberge von Fontanasanta kommt durch diese Kreuzung aus Riesling und Pinot Bianco zum Ausdruck. Der Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco ist ein Wein, der frühestens drei Jahre nach der Ernte richtig zur Geltung kommt.

Blumig-fruchtiges Bouquet, frischer und weicher Geschmack

Die Vermentino-Trauben, die in den sonnenverwöhnten Weinbergen des Gutes Casamaria in der Maremma angebaut werden, das 2003 von der Familie Zingarelli erworben wurde, bilden den Hauptbestandteil dieses Weines. Strohgelb in der Farbe, bietet das Aroma blumige Noten, die an Akazienblüten und Ginster erinnern, die bald zarten fruchtigen Düften von Apfel und Ananas Platz machen. Am Gaumen ist er trocken, weich und angenehm frisch. Auch auf dem Etikett ist eine "Windpumpe" zu sehen, die den Wind verkörpert, der ständig den Weinberg streichelt, wobei sich die Sonne in der Farbgebung des Weins widerspiegelt. Es soll den Verbraucher an die Hitze des Sommers denken lassen, die einfach immer wieder kommt.

Nach der Ernte werden die Trauben mit modernsten Techniken der kontrollierten Gärung vinifiziert. Der Wein wird im Frühjahr nach der Ernte in Flaschen abgefüllt, damit er seine ganze, während der Gärung gewonnene Frische bewahren kann.

Für den Jahrgang 2019 des Rocca delle Macie Vermentino Campo Maccione Maremma Toscana gab es  90 Punkte vom Falstaff: "Helles Silber mit zartem Strohgelb. Offene, blumige Nase, nach Holunderblüten und Zitronensaft, jugendlich.
