Chateau La Faurie Maison Neuve 2018 Lalande de Pomerol.

Chateau La Faurie Maison Neuve 2017 Lalande de Pomerol

Cheers!

 BIO

92 Sucklingpunkte für denJames Suckling schreibt am 3. März 2021 über den Chateau Mazeyres 2018 Pomerol:

Very pretty and subtle aromas of blackcurrants and violets follow through to a medium body with firm tannins and a delicate finish. Crisp. Try after 2023.

90 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den The 2017 Chateau Bourgneuf is a more powerful Pomerol in the vintage, offering lots of dark, chocolaty fruit as well as classic Pomerol notes of damp earth, spice, and tobacco leaf. Elegant, medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, and with present yet ripe tannins, it's a beautiful wine that's going to round into form with just a few years of bottle age and drink nicely for over a decade. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged in 35% new French oak. Stephane Toutoudji, who works with Thomas Duclos, also consults here.

99 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Tasted on four separate occasions, the 2016 Château Clinet is another brilliant wine from this estate. Showing slightly more freshness and purity than the 2015, its saturated purple color is followed by a thrilling array of crème de cassis, graphite, ground herbs, and a terrific sense of minerality. Deep, full-bodied, with building tannins, and a magical sense of purity and elegance paired with real density and depth, it needs short term cellaring and will keep for three decades.

The 2016 La Violette has an engaging bouquet of voluptuous black cherry. boysenberry and crème de cassis aromas. very pure but not as overpowering as in previous vintages. The palate is rounded and generous. displaying sensual tannin that imparts a velvety texture. It feels slightly lower in acidity than its peers. but there is impressive volume and density toward the finish. which coats the mouth with blue and black fruit. Decadent but with just the right amount of class to render this a quite delicious. sensual Pomerol.

97 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 PomerolOne of the most seamless, ethereal wines in the vintage, the 2018 Château La Fleur-Petrus checks in as 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot coming from a 45-acre vineyard of deep clay and gravelly soils located on the upper plateau of Pomerol. The vines average 35 years in age, and the élevage spans 16-18 months in 50% new French oak. Unquestionably in the same league as Trotanoy, Le Gay, Lafleur, Hosanna, and the other leviathans of the region, its deep purple hue is followed by a gorgeously layered, multi-dimensional 2018 with full-bodied aromas and flavors of black raspberry and blackcurrant fruits intermixed with spring flowers, dried herbs, and a hint of white truffle. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning symmetry and balance, its tannins are ripe and polished, and it has nicely integrated acidity as well as a great finish. It should drink well for another 20-25 years.

A blend of 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2018 la Fleur-Petrus has a medium garnet-purple color and a slightly closed-down nose to begin, soon unfurling to reveal earthy notions of black truffles, mossy tree bark and damp soil, over a core of plum preserves, wild blueberries and redcurrants, plus a fragrant waft of menthol lilacs. The medium to full-bodied palate has the most gorgeous, velvety texture with well-knit freshness giving lift to the densely packed black fruit and earthy layers, finishing with a beguiling perfume. Stunning. Give it a good 3-4 years in bottle and drink it over the next 30 years or more.

The 2018 La Fleur-Pétrus is positively rapturous, just as it was from barrel. Mother Nature appears to have taken all the signatures of this site and turned up the volume. Loud. Rich and beautifully layered, La Fleur-Pétrus dazzles with magnificent richness and a finish that is eternal. Blood orange, mint, rose petal, spice and sweet red berry fruit build over time. I can't remember tasting a better young La Fleur-Pétrus. Give it a few years to shed some baby fat. Magnificent.

The 2016 La Conseillante is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc aged in 70% new and 30% one-year-old French oak for 17 months. Deep garnet-purple colored. it slips provocatively out of the glass with a lifted perfume of roses. candied violets and lavender over a core of warm red and black plums. chocolate box. unsmoked cigars and baked cherries with wafts of wild thyme and tilled soil. 97 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau La Conseillante 2016 PomerolVerkostungsbericht aus Januar 2019:

The 2016 La Conseillante is a brilliant wine from the team led by Technical Director Marielle Cazaux. Polished and sophisticated. the 2016 possesses stunning vertical lift. with soaring aromatics that make a strong first impression. Silky and seductive on the palate. the 2016 is all about precision and energy in the early going. It is also one of the most quite. soft-spoken Pomerols of the vintage. Hints of blackberry. lavender. licorice and spice add nuance. but in 2016 La Conseillante stands out for its sublime balance and total sense of harmony. The 2016 spent 17 months in oak. 70% new. As gorgeous as the 2016 is. my impression is that the best is yet to come. Since arriving at La Conseillante. Cazaux has changed much in the farming of the property. including introducing cover crops and limiting yields. She also now works with no sulfites in winemaking and opts for lower temperatures in fermentation. In other words. the full results of all of that work is yet to be seen. For now. though. the 2016 Conseillante is a pretty special wine. Don't miss it. Tasted two times.

100 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 PomerolJames Suckling beschreibt den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

Super nose of dried blueberry, black plum, walnut, myrrh and sandalwood. Lavender, violet, and chocolate, too. Ripe with wood now, but fresh. It’s full-bodied with firm, ultra fine tannins. Lots of dark spice is interlaced with the ripe fruit, giving this complex, perfumed character. Muscular, long and seamless with incredible depth and concentration. Reminds me of the great 2009, but this is better with more structure. Amazing wine. This is 100% merlot. Try from 2027.

99 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 PomerolAntonio Galloni im März 2021:

The 2018 Trotanoy is a bold, powerful wine. In this vintage, some of the imposing structure that is such a Trotanoy signature has been replaced by super-expressive aromatics and striking detail. Dried herbs, iron, gravel and crushed rose petals all lend gorgeous savory nuance to a core of potent red berry fruit. Trotanoy is a Pomerol for those who can be patient. The 2018, though, is extraordinarily beautiful right out of the gate.

100 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck 99 für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol11.03.2021 Jeb Dunnuck:

Another heavenly Pomerol in the vintage, the 2018 Château Trotanoy checks in as 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc brought up in (I suspect) lots of new French oak (although it's certainly not apparent). Revealing a dense purple hue as well as a smorgasbord-like bouquet of blackcurrants, dried flowers, cured meats, violets, tobacco, and chocolate, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a sexy, seductive texture, building yet sweet tannins, and just a rich, concentrated, yet flawless profile on the palate that's already impossible to resist. Nevertheless, a good 7-8 years of bottle age are warranted, and this magical elixir is going to evolve for 40 years or more.

99 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol31.03.2021 Lisa Perrotti Brown:

The 2018 Trotanoy is composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it slowly unfurls to reveal a jaw-dropping perfume of Black Forest cake, black raspberries, blackberry pie and kirsch, followed by hints of cast-iron pan, violets, woodsmoke, Chinese five spice and eucalyptus, with a waft of tree bark. The full-bodied palate explodes with exotic spice and mineral fireworks, grounded by a concentrated, black and red berry preserves core and framed by firm, grainy tannins, finishing with epic length and depth. It will need a good five years in bottle to tame some of the youthfully overt, showy fruit and allow the mineral and earth nuances to emerge, then it should easily cellar another 35 years or more
