Für den Wine Advocate bewertet William Kelley den Chateau La Lagune Haut Medoc 2019:
Wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, wild berries and cassis mingled with hints of dark chocolate, pencil shavings and violets, the 2019 La Lagune is medium to full-bodied, broad and sensual, its ample core of fruit framed by polished tannins and succulent acids. In its elegant, generous style, it's reminiscent of a modern-day version of the brilliant 1990.
James Suckling über den Chateau La Lagune Haut Medoc 2019:
6 Dec, 2021 – Plenty of chocolate, tobacco and blackcurrant character on the nose. It’s full-bodied with chewy tannins that are polished and present. Long and intense. This is rather tight and mouth-puckering. Give it time to soften. Very structured. From organically grown grapes. Better after 2025.
Und Neal Martin (Vinous) zum Chateau La Lagune Haut Medoc 2019:
The 2019 La Lagune is focused yet nuanced and complex on the nose of blackberry, raspberry, wet clay and light tobacco scents. The medium-bodied palate features fine-grained tannins, good structure and a noticeable marine influence that defines the impressively persistent finish. Everything is in place for one of the best La Lagune releases in recent years.
Der Chateau La Lagune Haut Medoc 2019 am Gaumen der Falstaff-Verköstiger:
Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung.
