Cuvee: 80 Merlot 20 Cabernet Franc Dichter kompakter Kern, die Nase ist dunkler in der Fruchtaromatik, zart florale Nuancen kommen durch. Man spürt Lakritze, Cassis etwas rauchiges. Im Mund straff, mit super lebendiger Säure, kraftvolle und reife Tannine. Er kling in einem langen sauberen Finale aus und vergibt ihm 92-94 Punkte.

Ripe. open and very enticing, with lots of intertwined blueberry, boysenberry and plum compote flavors, carried by licorice threads and backed by a polished finish.
Lisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau La Serre 2018 Saint Emilion wie folgt:
The 2018 La Serre is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it offers up seductive scents of baked blackberries, blueberry tart and warm plums with nuances of black raspberries, oolong tea and cloves plus a touch of mincemeat pie. The medium-bodied palate is soft and plush with background freshness supporting the berry preserves flavors, finishing with a peppery kick.
Antonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau La Serre 2018 Saint Emilion wie folgt:
The 2018 La Serre is bold. punchy and exuberant. An explosion of inky blue/purplish fruit makes a strong opening impression. Big tannins add to the wine's outspoken, somewhat brash personality. The new oak needs time to integrate, but that should not be an issue in time. Although not especially polished, at least not today. La Serre packs a good bit of punch und vergibt ihm 89-92 Punkte.
