94 Sucklingpunkte für denVerkostungsbericht vom 03. Februar 2019:
There’s purity and focus to this Fronsac with blackberry and blueberry aromas and flavors. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Precise and pretty. A blend of 90 per cent merlot and ten per cent cabernet franc. Drink from 2022.

Chateau Dalem 2016 mit 92+ Parker Punkten Lisa Perrotti Brown 30. November 2018

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Dalem (blended of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc) leaps from the glass with notions of warm black cherries, chocolate mint and baked black plums plus hints of star anise, garrigue and cedar chest. Full-bodied yet possessing fantastic freshness and harmony on the palate, it has wonderfully vibrant fruit and a ripe, grainy frame, finishing with a compelling lift.

93 Punkte Vinous / Galloni für den Chateau Dalem 2016 Fronsac Antonio Galloni bewertet den Dalem im Januar 2019 wie folgt:

The 2016 Dalem is a flamboyant, unctuous wine. Super-ripe black cherry, chocolate, blackberry, grilled herbs, menthol, licorice and incense all run though this opulent, unapologetically full-throttle Fronsac. Dalem is one of the most overt, voluptuous wines of the year. I find it utterly irresistible. Tasted two times.

92 Sucklingpunkte für den Dalem 2017 FronsacJames Suckling zum Dalem 2017 im Dezember 2019:

A very composed Fronsac here with blueberry and dark-plum aromas, as well as graphite and slate-like, dark-stone nuances. The palate has such fresh and defined tannins. Very balanced, too. A blend of 95% merlot and 5% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.

92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für denNeal Martin Tasting Note vom Januar 2020:

The 2017 Dalem is vinified without SO2 and sees 40% new oak. It has a clean and precise bouquet with perfumed blackberry and freshly picked mint aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins. One of the most elegant Dalem wines that I have tasted in recent years with a clean and precise finish that is top drawer. This has kicked on since bottling and is turning into a very lovely Fronsac. Tasted twice with consistent notes.

This is so energetic and vibrant with dark-berry and citrus undertones that lead the wine to a tight and linear finish. Medium body, pretty fruit and vivid structure.

Offers a gently steeped profile, featuring plum and blackberry compote flavors, lined with a light toasty thread. A tobacco note lingers.

92-94+ Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac SubskriptionLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac Subskription wie folgt:

The 2018 Dalem (90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc) is deep garnet-purple in color and a little broody to begin, giving way to a core of baked blueberries, kirsch, redcurrant jelly and blackberry pie plus wafts of bay leaves and truffles. Full-bodied with bags of generous black fruit sparked by red fruit accents and a firm, velvety texture, it has a lovely refreshing lift on the finish.

89-91 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac SubskriptionAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac Subskription wie folgt:

The 2018 Dalem is a powerful wine. Succulent dark cherry, chocolate, espresso, menthol and spice add layers of dimension. In 2018, Dalem is a little less opulent and extracted than it can be, and yet it offers terrific persistence and tons of personality. More than anything else, the 2018 has terrific freshness to play off its dense, rich fruit. Tasted three times
