This deep, full-bodied, concentrated, beauty has that classic Pomerol opulence and richness paired with an incredible sense of elegance. The tannins are perfectly ripe as well. Give bottles just 4-5 years, and it's going to age beautifully. This is the finest wine I've tasted from the Garcin-Lévêque family, surpassing both the 2009 and 2016. Don't miss it!

This is a more layered and juicy wine with a soft and round tannin texture. Walnuts and chocolate. Full-bodied, gentle and welcoming to taste. Chocolate and coffee undertones. Subtle and lightly decadent. Better than I remember. Drink or hold.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Clos l'Eglise has a very earthy nose of black soil, truffles and mossy bark over a core of kirsch, blackberry preserves and dried mulberries with wafts of rose hips and oolong tea. Full-bodied, richly fruited and packed with savory layers, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy.

Extrem dunkles Purpur mit lila und violetten Reflexen. Sehr dichtes Bouquet, wirkt noch leicht hölzern im Ansatz, es ist aber auch genügend Fruchtdruck vorhanden. Im Gaumen fest, stoffig. noch fein aufrauhend, da ist viel Material drin, nicht unbescheiden in seiner Extraktion. Ich hätte weniger Kraft und mehr Saft erwartet. Das Potential ist aber beeindruckend. Also; let's see in 10 years.
