Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Haut Bergey 2020 Pessac Leognan :
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Haut Bergey strides out of the glass with notes of stewed black and red plums, baked blackberries and Morello cherries, plus touches of tar, unsmoked cigars and charcuterie with a touch of bay leaves. The medium-bodied palate has a pleasant chewiness and just enough freshness to frame the black fruit layers, finishing long and savory.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Haut Bergey 2020 Pessac Leognan Folgendes:
Lots of crushed stone and blackberry with some walnut and mushroom. Dried-earth undertone. Medium-to full-bodied with round, ripe tannins and a savory finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Demeter certification.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Haut Bergey:
The 2020 Haut-Bergey Blanc has a slightly musky nose, touches of chalk dust and white flowers emerging with time. The palate is slightly honeyed on the opening, featuring orange and lime cordial. Lower in acidity than its peers, but still balanced, revealing attractive tropical notes of passion fruit and pineapple pith toward the finish. Fine, though I do not know why they did not use their Sémillon this year.
