93 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Charmail 2018 Haut Medoc Jeb Dunnuck bewertet den Chateau Charmail 2018 Haut Medoc wie folgt:

One of those wines that punches well above its price point, the 2018 Château Charmail comes from the northern part of the Médoc and is a mix of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot brought up in mostly used barrels. Beautiful darker currants and cassis fruits as well as tobacco, chocolate, and damp earth give way to medium to full-bodied 2018 with a plush, rounded texture, a terrific mid-palate, silky tannins, and a great finish. It's a gorgeous wine and I think even a step up over the 2016. Enjoy bottles any time over the coming 10-12 years.

93 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Fontenil 2018 FronsacLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau Fontenil 2018 aus Fronsac wie folgt:

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Fontenil hits the ground running with vivacious notes of baked black plums, stewed black cherries and black raspberry preserves, followed by hints of molten licorice, ground cloves and sandalwood. The rich, full-bodied palate (15% alcohol) is jam-packed with black fruit preserves and exotic spice accents, framed by plush tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

92 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau Fontenil 2018 FronsacJames Mothels bewertet den Chateau Fontenil 2018 aus Fronsac wie folgt:

Black cherry and cassis notes are fresh and unencumbered in feel as they lead the way, carried by silky structure and infused with subtle minerality and a hint of anise through the finish.

92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Fontenil 2018 FronsacAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau Fontenil 2018 aus Fronsac wie folgt:

The 2018 Fontenil retains its gorgeous bouquet of exuberant scents of red cherries and raspberry coulis and hints of honey and marmalade, beautifully defined and utterly seductive. The palate is very well balanced and focused, and fine tannins lend firm backbone and grip. This is a classy, vibrant, captivating Fontenil that should loosen up and drink well for 15–20 years. Excellent.

The 2016 Cantemerle has a fresh bouquet of airy. floral black fruit; light violet scents emerge with time. The sorbet-fresh palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. and blood orange mingles with supple red fruit toward the graphite-infused finish.
