Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Ferran 2020 Pessac Leognan rouge :
A blend of 78% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, the 2020 Ferran is aging for 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% new. The alcohol is 14%. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it features fragrant notes of kirsch, preserved plums, boysenberries and raspberry coulis, plus hints of spice cake, licorice and garrigue with a waft of cracked black pepper. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and spicy, offering a soft texture and seamless freshness, finishing savory.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Ferran 2020 Pessac Leognan rouge Folgendes:
Walnut, dark berry and crushed stone with some iron undertones. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a polished finish. Refined.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Ferran:
The 2020 Ferran has a crisp, pure bouquet of black cherries, bilberry, black olive and subtle marine scents unfolding with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, fine acidity, modest depth and quite a structured, dark-chocolate-tinged finish. Not a long-term prospect, perhaps, but nicely proportioned.
