13 Jan, 2022 – Tar and dried tobacco with black cherries and blackberries. Stones, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with a solid core of fruit and a flavorful finish. Really tightly wound. Try after 2026.

94 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für denWilliam Kelley im April 2022:
The 2019 Certan de May has turned out very well, offering up aromas of rich cherries, cassis, loamy soil and creamy but nicely integrated new oak. Full-bodied, layered and lively, with fine concentration, powdery tannins and a long, penetrating finish, this is beautifully balanced Pomerol that no doubt benefits from the perspective of consultant Jean-Claude Berrouet.

93 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Für den Wine Spectator verköstigte James Molesworth den Chateau Certan de May 2019 Pomerol:
Ripe and silky, with abundant blood orange, damson plum and cherry puree notes carried by a silky structure, with rooibos tea, mineral and savory details chiming in through the stylish finish. Very nicely done for the vintage. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2023 through 2036. 1,700 cases made, 75 cases imported.

Made from 100% Merlot, the 2018 Lafleur-Gazin has a medium to deep garnet-purple color, galloping out of the glass with expressive notes of baked plums, stewed black cherries and blueberry preserves, plus hints of pencil lead, iodine and dried mint. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is filled with robust black fruit preserves, framed by chewy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with a minty/medicinal kick.

Extremely rich and opulent nose of ripe fruit and meat with flowers, following through to a full body with round, juicy and chewy tannins that are polished and rather soft. Intense finish. Try after 2024.

Just an up-front, incredibly charming, irresistible Pomerol, the 2018 Château Lafleur-Gazin offers up a smorgasbord-like nose of red and black cherries, flowery incense, spice, and cedary herbs. With loads of sweet fruit, this plush, layered, sexy 2018 has sweet tannins, no hard edges, and the class to evolve and drink well for 10-15 years.

95 Sucklingpunkte für den Clos L Eglise 2015 Pomerol James Suckling bewertet den Clos L Eglise 2015 Pomerol:

This is a more layered and juicy wine with a soft and round tannin texture. Walnuts and chocolate. Full-bodied, gentle and welcoming to taste. Chocolate and coffee undertones. Subtle and lightly decadent. Better than I remember. Drink or hold.

94 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Clos L Eglise 2015 PomerolNeal Martin bewertet den Clos L Eglise 2015 Pomerol im April 2018:

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Clos l'Eglise has a very earthy nose of black soil, truffles and mossy bark over a core of kirsch, blackberry preserves and dried mulberries with wafts of rose hips and oolong tea. Full-bodied, richly fruited and packed with savory layers, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy.

Also; let's see in 10 years.

95+ Punkt vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Hosanna 2016 PomerolVerkostungsbericht aus Januar 2019:

The 2016 Hosanna is a big. powerful wine. Far more introverted and brooding than it was en primeur. Hosanna gives the impression of a wine that is going to need quite a bit of time to fully recover from bottling. Today. the fruit is a bit muted. although the wine's power. depth and overall structure are very much present. Mocha. espresso. grilled herbs and leather build into the dark. somber finish.

97 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Hosanna 2016James Suckling Februar 2019:

Such a polished wine from the outset. This has a very deep thread of dark plums. black stones and dark cocoa powder. running from nose to palate. The finish is swathed in rich and plush tannins and delivers profound depth with unblemished fruit purity. Stunning Pomerol. Try from 2023.

97 Suckling Punkte für den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 PomerolJames Suckling über den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 Pomerol:

8 Jan, 2022 – Rich and layered red with black olive and walnut on the nose, as well as blackberry. Full-bodied and powerful with superb depth and richness. Walnut and chocolate, too. Opulent, yet fresh. Try after 2026.

95 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 PomerolAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 Pomerol:

The 2019 Feytit-Clinet is superb. In most vintages, Feytit-Clinet is one of the more intense and tannic Pomerols. In 2019, though, some of that intensity is dialed down. On the plus side, though, that means the 2019 will drink well with minimal cellaring. Inky dark fruit, licorice, graphite, lavender, dried herbs and rose petal build into the sumptuous, creamy finish. Usually I advise cellaring Feytit-Clinet, but that will be less necessary in 2019. As always, Feytit-Clinet is one of the most distinctive wines in the Right Bank.

95 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 PomerolUnd Neal Martin (Vinous) beschreibt denChateau Feytit Clinet 2019 Pomerol:

The 2019 Feytit-Clinet has a stunning bouquet of pure red fruit, crushed stone and light rose petal scents; a hint of black truffle emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with good depth, the 70% new French oak a little more prominent than usual at the moment, though that will be subsumed with time. Very balanced and persistent, this is a bolder style of Feytit, but Jeremy Chasseuil pulls it off.

94 Punkte vom Falstaff für den Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 PomerolDer Chateau Feytit Clinet 2019 Pomerol am Gaumen der Falstaff-Verköstiger:

Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

This depth of fruit here is fantastic with so much berry, fig and wet-earth character. not to mention the mushrooms. Full body and polished, chewy tannins. Long and flavorful finish.

92-95 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau La Violette 2018 PomerolJames Mothels bewertet den Chateau La Violette 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

Lush in feel, with alluring crushed raspberry and plum fruit flavors, inlaid with a black tea hint. The fruit is quite showy, but this remains a bit shy on drive.

93-95+ Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau La Violette 2018 PomerolLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau La Violette 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 La Violette reveals delicate notes of rose hip tea, underbrush and wild sage to begin, opening out to Black Forest cake, plum preserves and blackberry pie scents plus wafts of cedar and cinnamon toast. Big, full and voluptuously fruited, it has a firm structure of plush tannins and background freshness, finishing opulent.

94-97 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau La Violette 2018 PomerolAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau La Violette 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

The 2018 La Violette is a heady Pomerol. Crème de cassis, blueberry jam, licorice, lavender and menthol capture a striking interplay of unctuous richness and freshness. Soft curves and silky tannins add to the wine's pure appeal. Although not at all subtle, the 2018 is stunningly beautiful in a modern, sumptuous style that offers tons of immediacy. Hopefully the strong new oak signatures will integrate more fully during elevage und vergibt ihm 94-97 Punkte.

Den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 Pomerol verkostet Christian Balog von CB Weinhandel in Essen für Sie wie folgt: CB Weinhandel bewertet den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:
98 Punkte

Ripe black fruit, clove, licorice, pine and walnut husk on the nose. Bitter chocolate and coffee, too. It’s full-bodied with firm, tight tannins. Muscular and very formed. Energetic and precise with long, chewy layers and lots of depth, structure and polish. Superb. Needs time. Try from 2026.

96-99 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 PomerolJames Mothels bewertet den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

A brick house. featuring steeped currant and plum fruit. scored by tobacco. bay leaf and charcoal notes. A great tug of earth lurks underneath. but there's plenty of fruit to handle it. This is a big one.

97 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 PomerolOne of the most seamless, ethereal wines in the vintage, the 2018 Château La Fleur-Petrus checks in as 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot coming from a 45-acre vineyard of deep clay and gravelly soils located on the upper plateau of Pomerol. The vines average 35 years in age, and the élevage spans 16-18 months in 50% new French oak. Unquestionably in the same league as Trotanoy, Le Gay, Lafleur, Hosanna, and the other leviathans of the region, its deep purple hue is followed by a gorgeously layered, multi-dimensional 2018 with full-bodied aromas and flavors of black raspberry and blackcurrant fruits intermixed with spring flowers, dried herbs, and a hint of white truffle. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning symmetry and balance, its tannins are ripe and polished, and it has nicely integrated acidity as well as a great finish. It should drink well for another 20-25 years.

97+ Punkte vom Wine Advocate für denLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

A blend of 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2018 la Fleur-Petrus has a medium garnet-purple color and a slightly closed-down nose to begin, soon unfurling to reveal earthy notions of black truffles, mossy tree bark and damp soil, over a core of plum preserves, wild blueberries and redcurrants, plus a fragrant waft of menthol lilacs. The medium to full-bodied palate has the most gorgeous, velvety texture with well-knit freshness giving lift to the densely packed black fruit and earthy layers, finishing with a beguiling perfume. Stunning. Give it a good 3-4 years in bottle and drink it over the next 30 years or more.

97 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für denAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

The 2018 La Fleur-Pétrus is positively rapturous, just as it was from barrel. Mother Nature appears to have taken all the signatures of this site and turned up the volume. Loud. Rich and beautifully layered, La Fleur-Pétrus dazzles with magnificent richness and a finish that is eternal. Blood orange, mint, rose petal, spice and sweet red berry fruit build over time. I can't remember tasting a better young La Fleur-Pétrus. Give it a few years to shed some baby fat. Magnificent.
