Ein Klassiker aus dem Rhône Méridional
... dem südlichen Teil also.
The medium to full-bodied 2020 Cotes du Rhone will see plenty of more time in tank, yet it's already drinking well, with hints of garrigue and black olives adding nuance to the blackberry and cherry fruit. Silky and clean, it's delightfully easy to drink.
Der E.Guigal Cotes du Rhone 2020 bewertet im Mai 2022 von James Suckling:
An impressive Cotes-du-Rhone with stacks of blackberry and black raspberry fruit wrapped around a core of moderately dry tannins on the bold palate. Long self-confidently dry finish. A cuvee of 50% syrah, 45% grenache and 5% mourvedre. Drink now.
Und auch Jeb Dunnuck benotet den E.Guigal Cotes du Rhone 2020 (Dezember 2022):
Leading off the 2020s, the 2020 Côtes Du Rhône is ripe, medium to full-bodied, and loaded with charm. Sunny red and black fruits, spice, and garrigue notes define the bouquet, and it's going to drink nicely right out of the gate. It shows the fruit-driven style of the vintage.
Peter Moser zur 2020er Ausgabe des Cotes du Rhone von E.Guigal (September 2021):
Helles Strohgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe.
