Chateau Sansonnet 2016 Saint Emilion

Chateau Sansonnet 2016 mit 94+ Parker Punkten bewertetLisa Perrotti Brown 30. November 2018

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Sansonnet (composed of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a little youthfully mute, revealing suggestions of crushed black plums, baked cherries and blackberries with nuances of fallen leaves, black olives, lavender and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is charged with energy, giving mouth-coating red and black fruits with a firm, grainy frame, finishing long and lively.

96 Punkte Vinous / GAlloni für den Chateau Sansonnet 2016 Saint EmilionAntonio Galloni bewertet den Sansonnet im Januar 2019 wie folgt:

An exotic, heady wine, the 2016 Sansonnet is a total stunner. Crème de cassis, lavender, bittersweet chocolate, menthol, licorice, graphite and sweet spice saturate the palate in an explosive, stunningly beautiful Saint-Émilion that balances concentration and vibrancy with impeccable class. Put simply, the 2016 Sansonnet is a total pleasure bomb. Don't miss it. Tasted three times.

94 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für denNeal Martin im Januar 2019:

The 2016 Sansonnet has a pure bouquet of small dark cherries, fig and blueberry, beautifully defined and seamlessly integrated with the new oak. The medium-bodied palate is smooth and sensual, offering supple tannin and layers of slightly toasted black fruit, plus a bit of white pepper toward the persistent finish. This should mature with panache in bottle. 14.5% alcohol

The long and alluring finish is already well-formed. This has depth, mouthfeel and fruit to burn.verkostet 03-19 von James Mothels Winespectator und vergibt ihm 93-96 Punkte.

Antonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau Sansonnet 2018 Saint Emilion wie folgt: The 2018 Sansonnet is gorgeous. Vibrant, delineated and full of character, the 2018 has so much to offer. In 2018, Sansonnet is a bit restrained and yet it possesses terrific depth and energy in its black cherry, chocolate, licorice and menthol flavors. Always a rich wine, in 2018 Sansonnet has a good bit of freshness and that plays off its more overt leanings very nicely. The 2018 feels just a bit less extracted than some previous editions, and that is a good thing. Not to worry, though, there is plenty of richness and concentration. Sansonnet got better and better as my en primeur tastings progressed. The last of the four samples I tasted was the most impressive. und vergibt ihm 92-95 Punkte.
