Blackberry and blackcurrant with some licorice and tar on the nose. It’s medium-to full-bodied with intense yet polished tannins and a long, beautiful finish. The quality of the tannins is an upgrade here.

The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, classic in style with a fine bead of acidity that imparts plenty of freshness. More black fruit on the palate compared to the nose with a saline finish, this is a fine Margaux that has a suppleness suggesting it will drink early after bottling.

Der 2020 ist ziemlich auffällig, behält aber auch eine gute Portion Energie bei, mit blumigen Noten, die das Finish schön abrunden. Es ist ein wunderschöner Zweitwein von Henri Lurton und Brane-Cantenac.
