James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Lafleur-Gazin 2020 Pomerol Folgendes:
Such gorgeous aromas of blackberries, blueberries and crushed stones. Fresh flowers, too. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a clean, round-textured finish.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Lafleur Gazin:
The Lafleur-Gazin has recently suggested that it can punch at a higher weight (see my recent note for the 2018 in bottle). However, I don’t think the 2020 is in the same class. It presents a slightly herbaceous nose that’s a little gawky at the moment, perhaps barrel maturation will knit this together. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins, good acidity and plenty of earthy black fruit laced with subtle ash-like notes toward the finish. Not bad, but it cuts away too quick, as if it has something else on its mind.

Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Ockerrandaufhellung.
