Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Paloumey 2020 Haut Medoc :
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Paloumey gives up vague scents of red and black plums and sautéed herbs with faint wafts of tobacco and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate has appealing freshness and approachable tannins, if a little light on the mid-palate fruit and short on the finish.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Paloumey 2020 Haut Medoc Folgendes:
Redcurrants and hints of toasted oak with some stone and iron. It’s medium-bodied with a pleasant center palate, firm tannins and a flavorful finish. Slightly hollow in the center palate, but it should fill in nicely.
86-88 Punkte für den 2020er Chateau Paloumey gibt es von der Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni:
The 2020 Paloumey has a tightly wound nose that unfurls nicely in the glass to reveal blackberry, raspberry and cassis scents; a light floral note follows. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly oaky entry that makes this drier than I expected. Good depth, and quite sappy on the finish, but that oak needs to start singing from the same hymn book.
