I followed this bottle for multiple days, and it never put a foot wrong. It will hit its prime drinking window in 7-8 years and evolve for two decades.

Der Baron de Brane 2020 ist ein opulenter, überschwänglicher Wein. Dunkle rote/purpurfarbene Frucht, Mokka, Schokolade, Lavendel, Gewürze und neues Leder sind alle wunderbar präzise. Feine Tannine, aufsteigende Aromen und saftige Frucht sind alle sehr gut ausbalanciert. Der 2020 ist ziemlich auffällig, behält aber auch eine gute Portion Energie bei, mit blumigen Noten, die das Finish schön abrunden. Es ist ein wunderschöner Zweitwein von Henri Lurton und Brane-Cantenac.

Coming from a mix of gravelly, sandy soils and aged in 50% new French oak, this beauty hit 14% natural alcohol (no doubt helped by the large Merlot component) and is going to benefit from just a few years of bottle age.
