Round and intense on the palate, this is a concentrated and salty Riesling with fine tannins and a long and intense fruity finish. Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.

A very seductive and refined version, offering a bit of creaminess offset by crystalline acidity. The powerful finish is full of ripe, spiced flavors and intense creamy notes. Die Lage: Das Kirchspiel öffnet sich wie ein antikes Amphitheater zum Rhein hin und empfängt die ersten Sonnenstrahlen am Morgen. Die Weinberge sind mit ihrer Ost- bis Südostausrichtung von den kalten
Westwinden geschützt und schaffen so das hervorragende Kleinklima des Kirchspiels. Die Rebstöcke befinden sich Großteils im oberen Teil der Lage in einer Steigung von bis zu 30 %.
Der Boden: Vor allem Tonmergel mit Kalksteineinlagerungen sowie Kalksteinverwitterungslehm verleihen dem Kirchspiel seinen unverwechselbaren, würzig-eleganten Charakter.
