Lisa Perrotti Brown im November 2018:
Blended of 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, the medium garnet-purple colored 2016 de Bel-Air gives up a very fruity nose of crushed plums, kirsch and black cherry compote with hints of potpourri, tilled soil and fallen leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate is laden with juicy plums and cherry flavors plus a pleasant chewy texture, finishing on a savory note.
James Suckling bewertet den Chateau de Bel Air 2016 im Januar 2019 wie folgt:
Quite smoky and earthy with a hint of something vegetal, alongside the ripe red fruit. This is generous, but rather crisp and slightly sappy at the finish. A blend of 73 per cent merlot, 19 per cent cabernet franc and eight per cent cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold.
