The 2019 La Fleur de Boüard has a vivacious, well-defined bouquet of pure red cherry and wild strawberry scents, a touch of marmalade and iodine emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and ripe, with supple tannins and a sensual, concentrated yet never overpowering finish. A lovely Lalande de Pomerol.

The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins. smooth and silky from tip to toe with a lush. well defined. lightly spiced finish that is a joy. Excellent.

The finish is deep and substantial. adding to an impression of real gravitas. I was quite impressed with La Fleur de Boüard this year. The wines seem to have an added level of nuance and finesse to complement the richness they have always shown.
