The 2022 Saint-Georges Côte Pavie is a notable success for this beautifully situated hillside terroir. Offering up aromas of cherries, wild berries, spices and pencil shavings, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and vibrant, with powdery tannins and a long, mineral finish. As usual, it's a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.

Flowers, black, red, and blue fruits, espresso and crushed stones create the perfume. The wine is medium-bodied, vibrant, soft, fresh, and with a nice, purity of fruits, silky tannins, and sweet, red pit fruits in the spicy, finish. Drink from 2026-2040.

Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, tintig, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

An estate that has been on the uptick of late, the 2022 Château Saint Georges (Côtes Pavie) looks to be another gorgeous wine from this château. Darker cherries, red plums, spring flowers, and spice all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a silky, layered mouthfeel and ripe tannins.
This is spicy and chocolaty with a medium to full body. Firm tannins with some chewiness to it. Chalky finish. Racy. Next to Pavie. Traditional.
