William Kelley im April 2022:
The 2021 Quinault l'Enclos delivers aromas of cherries, strawberries and warm spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping palate that's supple and charming, with lively acids and a demonstrative, fruit-driven style. Some 80% of the blend is matured in foudres rather than barriques. It's produced by Cheval Blanc's winemaking team.
James Suckling im Mai 2022
Pretty blue fruit with graphite and fine, juicy tannins. Medium-bodied with a fine, silky texture. 59% merlot, 23% cabernet franc and 18% cabernet sauvignon.

From the team at Cheval Blanc, the 2021 Château Quinault L'Enclos is another impeccably made wine that has more red and blue fruits, some violet and peppery herb nuances, medium body, and the precise, focused, elegant style of the vintage front and center. It's finesse-driven, yet still brings texture and richness and will unquestionably be an outstanding wine.
The Wine Cellar Insider (Jeff Leve) : 90-92 / 100
Cherries, plums, chocolate, nutmeg, flowers and mint on the palate. The fruits are sweet and rich, but the mid-palate is a bit light before you get to all the sweetness and lift in the finish. Yields are quite low at only 20 hectoliters per hectare, so the wine is going to be difficult to find as the production was cut almost in half. The wine blends 59% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc, and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink from 2023-2036.
