William Kelley im April 2022:
A charming wine derived from vineyards in the commune of Sousans characterized by deep, rather sandy gravels, the 2021 La Gurgue delivers aromas of sweet dark berries and plums, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and fleshy palate that's charming and open-knit. Fully 19% Petit Verdot, from massal selections, makes this an unusual blend from proprietor Claire Villars-Lurton.
James Suckling im Mai 2022:
A juicy and earthy red with rich soil aromas and flavors. Medium to full body with ripe and round tannins and a slightly chewy finish. Attractive. 54% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot and 19% petit verdot. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification.
