Dunkle reife Frucht, etwas sogar ins schwarzbeerige gehende. 92-94 Punkte

92-95 Punkte vom Wineadvocate für den Chateau Laroque 2021 Saint EmilionWilliam Kelley im April 2022: The 2021 Laroque is very promising indeed, and winemaker David Suire and I agree that it is likely to surpass the estate's 2018 vintage in quality. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet berries, plums and cherries, framed by a discreet patina of new oak, it's medium to full-bodied, seamless and complete, with excellent concentration, lively acids and ripe, melting tannins. A blend of 99% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc, it represents 45% of the estate's production and derives from vines more than 50 years old.

93-94 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Laroque 2021 Saint EmilionJames Suckling im Mai 2022:
A medium-bodied, elegant and fresh red with fine and silky tannins. Fresh acidity. Balanced and perfumed already with vibrant raspberry, blackberry and bark notes. Very citrusy. Linear and bright.

90-92 Parker Punkte für den Chateau Clos de L Oratoire 2021 Saint EmilionWilliam Kelley im April 2022:

Exhibiting notions of cherries, blackberries and licorice, the 2021 Clos de l'Oratoire is medium to full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with a textural attack, bright acids and a fleshy core of fruit, framed by fine tannins that gently assert themselves on the finish. It's one of the more gourmand, generous wines in the von Neipperg range.

92-93 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Clos de L Oratoire 2021 Saint EmilionJames Suckling im Mai 2022:

This is tight and fine-tannined with a medium body, lightly rounded tannins and a fresh and bright finish. Structured and long. Polished.

90-93 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck im Mai 2022:

A charming, character loaded 2021 with lots to like, the 2021 Clos De L'Oratoire should be outstanding. Spice, sandalwood, tobacco, and ripe red and black cherry fruits give way to a medium-bodied, balanced, elegant wine. It showed beautifully on numerous occasions.

Aromatisches Finale. Hier schlummert noch Potenzial. 91-93+ Punkte

92-94 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau La Gaffeliere 2021 Saint EmilionWilliam Kelly zum Chateau La Gaffeliere 2021 Saint Emilion (April 2022):

A notable success in this vintage, the 2021 La Gaffelière offers up aromas of sweet cherries and berries mingled with notions of licorice, loamy soil and spices. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and enveloping, it's supple and charming, with a fleshy core of fruit, lively acids and ripe, powdery tannins, concluding with impressive persistence. Tasted four times, twice at the château.

94-95 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau La Gaffeliere 2021 Saint EmilionDer Chateau La Gaffeliere 2021 Saint Emilion am Gaumen von James Suckling (Mai 2022):

A very precise and curated wine with ultra-fine tannins that run the length of the wine. Medium body. Dark berry and dark chocolate flavors and a creamy finish. Classy.

Chateau Lassegue 2021 Saint Emilion Grand Cru
93-94

  Jane Anson (Jane Anson) : 93 / 100

This is very much focused on clarity of fruit, taut blueberry, richer raspberry puree, with waves of rose petals, saffran, iodine, smoked earth and bitter chocolate. Winemaker Pierre Seillan (who has just handed over to his son but is still very much a big presence) has been making wine at various locations since 1962, making this his 54th vintage, the 19th here at Lassegue. Harvest September 29 to October 14, 3.64ph. 70% new oak, no chaptilisaiton, no bleeding of the tanks for extra concentration.

93-94 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Lassegue 2021 Saint Emilion Grand CruJames Suckling im Mai 2022:

A wine with pureness and finesse, showing wonderful length and brightness. Dark berries, cherries and dried citrus. It's long and lively. Orange peel and other citrus notes at the end. Lots of minerality.

Decanter.com (Georgina Hindle) : 93 / 100

Amazing aromatics - very fruit forward on the nose full of blackcurrant, black cherry and black pepper. The strawberry, raspberry and cranberry fruit absolutely sings in the glass, punchy with excellent clarity and soft plushness. Silky tannins, barely there except to give a mineral, wet stone texture which is to the fore. It’s profound in terms of depth of flavour - vertical and structured, but not heavy or exuberant with freshness and focus keeping it lifted and graceful. Well balanced, harmonious and full of classicism in the best sense. This is the 19th vintage for winemaker Pierre Seillan, whose son will now take the helm. No chaptalisation needed here. 3.64pH. Ageing in 70% new oak.

92-94 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau La Mondotte 2021 Saint EmilionWilliam Kelley im April 2022:

Unwinding in the glass with scents of cherry, sweet berries, dark chocolate and loamy soil, the 2021 La Mondotte is medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, with a compact, tightly wound profile, tangy acids and beautifully refined tannins. Of all the von Neipperg wines, this is the most reticent at this early stage, but all the components for a notable success are present.

Jeb Dunnuck im Mai 2022: 94-97 / 100

A brilliant wine in the making, I'd put the 2021 La Mondotte up with the crème de la crème from the Right Bank. Offering up terrific cassis, blueberry, and darker cherry fruits, it's medium to full-bodied, has ripe, polished tannins, terrific balance, and subtle floral and chalky mineral-like nuances. It brings way more density, depth, and texture than just about every other wine out there. Bravo.

Die Bewertung für den Chateau La Mondotte 2021 Saint Emilion vom Wine Cellar Insider lautet wie folgt. The Wine Cellar Insider (Jeff Leve) : 94-96 / 100

Flowers, black raspberries, broken stones, smoke, cherries and mint create the nose. On the palate, the wine is elegant, soft, refined, chalky, energetic, fresh and intense with layers of crisp, sweet, vibrant red pit fruits and a strong touch of salt on the backend. The wine blends 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc, 13% ABV. The harvest took place September 30 - October 10. Drink from 2026-2050.

95-96 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau La Mondotte 2021 Saint EmilionJames Suckling im Mai 2022:

A refined and firm-tannined red with violets, tangerines and blue fruit. Medium-bodied, tight and compact palate with everything in place. Elegance with structure.
