Medium bodied with a wonderful concentration of citrus, tropical and spice flavors, it gives a great backbone of refreshing acidity and a long yeasty finish.

Ten percent of the 2010 Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc was naturally
fermented in old French barriques. It offers pronounced notes
of pink grapefruit, guava and lime slices with hints of fresh sage
and chalk dust. Medium bodied with mouth-filling citrus and tropical flavors
and a hint of silkiness to the texture, it has lively acidity and a long finish
with some herbal nuances coming through.

As the name suggests, the 2009 Wild Sauvignon was naturally fermented
in French oak barriques, 10% new, and aged for 12 months with occasional
lees stirring. About 2/3 of the barrels underwent malo-lactic.
It displays yeasty / toasty notes of freshly baked bread and toasted almonds
over fresh grapefruit juice, kumquats, passion fruit and mandarin peel plus hints of cedar, coriander seed and dill. 
Medium bodied and wonderfully concentrated, it has a beautiful satiny texture, invigorating acidity and a very long, layered finish.
Kevin Judd takes Marlborough Sauvignon to new heights with this one!
Drinking very nicely now, it’s of that style that could age very well and I’d recommend putting a few bottles away in the cellar for 5 years or so and enjoying it to 2016+.

bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, the palate offers a nice contrast
between stone fruit and savory flavors balanced by crisp acid and finishing
long and mealy.

the 2009 Section 94 Sauvignon Blanc spent 18 months in oak.
It offers roasted almond and fresh baguette notes over a core
of warm grapefruit, passion fruit and apricots plus hints of fennel
and cedar. Medium bodied and with a great backbone of very crisp acid,
it presents a mouth-filling, seriously concentrated tropical and toast flavors
with a long savory finish. Delicious now,
it should age gracefully and cellar to 2016+.

Just 500 cases of the 2005 Hillside Pinot Noir are produced,
a selection of best barrels with fruit from the center of the gentle,
north-facing slope, hand-picked, destemmed and then matured
for 17 months in barrel using 45% new oak before being bottled
unfined and unfiltered. It has a complex brambly nose with a subtle
hint of sloes which is followed by a medium-bodied palate with silky
tannins and a sensuous, red-berried finish. Very pure and natural,
this excellent Pinot should drink well over 8-10 years

These days the Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc is usually sourced from 5-6 vineyard parcels of older vines that produce riper (less grassy) fruit. The juice goes through a long, slow ferment in French oak, around 5-10% new and some barrels naturally go through malo-lactic. It spends around 1.5 years in barrel. The 2008 Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc offers intense warm grapefruit, green guava and pineapple notes with hints of cedar and orange blossom. Medium bodied, crisp and concentrated, it reveals a good amount of mid-palate fruit with a long finish. This is a very good Te Koko but just seems to slightly lack the real concentration and texture of the two previous vintages.
